looking to climb these two mountains this march.Read somewhere that Bromo is still spewing ash, so no go within 2km radius.But couldn't find any info on Mt Semeru,is it open for trekkers?Does Semeru still spew ash every 15-20min on the summit?
after thousands of tries,just can't seem to import any album with more than 20 pictures,anything lesser seems fine.anyone here experiencing the same problem, can shed some light.Thanks.

When we're about to head back,had a final pump at the very first shell petrol station just after the new custom.there was a motorbike snatch thief,successfully made away with a singaporean auntie's handbag,just when she got out of the car!everything took just less than 5seconds,and without much commotion . happened approx 0230hrs and the kiosk was rather full of people.do take extra care !
away for for climbing trip from 18-24th dec. to lata cemerong & gunung berembun(trengganu). prolly bukit tabur (KL) if we have the time and energy. meanwhile super brain dead,everything is unpacked!
my 7th floor neighbour Diora bought her cat Toby (Ragdoll breed) up to meet the bunny.They click almost immediately,super cute moments! oh ya,the cat is super HUGE la!
Sentosa in the day,weather on and off but still had fun.left 3pm to vivo for lunch @ kim gary. Wee and ade had dinner at home,the rest came over to my place to chill.
went to perling mall via tuas 2nd link cause mom last min wants to get a cake from secret recipe for my bro's birthday,its way cheaper.had porridge and ramly burger while waiting for jo and the rest.after they came about 12am,went to sentosa had wanton mee and lok lok.
saw this 2 cars badly damaged from an accident,must have been a serious one,car seat flew out some distance away.
we were having coffee at the usual Old town,didn't realise the next building was on fire,until 7 fire trucks whizzed past us one by one.A "mamasan" sitting behind us was heard saying on the phone,some ktv(lup sup bar) was on fire.We decided to check it out,good thing Wm bought his 450D along.
[2245 hours] we walked along this small corridor then found out we were directly below the building,took some shots and quickly got out.

check out the reflection,we were standing some 70metres away and feeling the heat!
[2345hours]Reinforcements came,ladder thingy setup,hose connected to truck
[0005hours] ladder thingy deployed but water gun still not activated,fire got smaller thou.
[0030hours]went to the front realise the fire was bigger than we thought.
[0100hours]spanning like the whole of the 6th storey.not much actions left and feeling tired so decided to call it a day and head back home.
7th Nov '08 had the whole house to me-self,everyone else was away for holidays. super crazy night,great dinner/booze/games/tau poking/stripping... as usual the young one got wasted.haha
30th oct '08 reached home at 6pm after pelapah trek,super tired and worn out.And still have to pack and wake up at 6am next morning for sibu kelong 3D2N!! was forced to go =( ,asked alex and gang along too.great night! one thing i still dont understand,which part of Xm is cute.LOL
